We are in a cold spell at the moment. Cold for Rossland anyway, it is -15C today. Beautiful weather, the temperature seems to put a shine on the world. Rossland is glowing in a white and blue vibrancy. The temperature however is not so good for the prospect of Red Mountain opening. These are ideal snowmaking conditions but we do not have snowmaking at Red yet. Usually this is not a problem, however this year it sure would be reassuring to have it.
Good conditions for making ice, the rink behind the house is established. Fun for the kids.
Off to Fernie today for NONSTOP program training. At least I will be skiing tomorrow.
