I am at 49 North this weekend for a training camp with the Red Mountain Academy. They are off to such a good start down here. This area gets the same weather systems as Red Mountain but they always seem to be open earlier as they don't need as much snow as us to open. This place is like a bigger version of the Paradise side of Granite Mountain. Long runs, it is a nice place to let your skis run.As you can see from the photos the snow conditions are excellent. I skied all day today and didn't even see a rock much less hit one.
